Life is good...

...that´s what I have been thinking the last few days. My traineeship at the Swiss Post finished last Friday. On one hand I was a bit sad to leave: I really got to like my work colleagues I had fun with them- although they were very different from me: much more settled, but also with not as much drive and energy as I had somehow had hoped- I was missing the AIESEC environment at times. My work was quite challenging, which I appreciated a lot, because it made me stretch. But the very best thing was that I was able to apply so much of what I had learnt in AIESEC: sometimes I even thought, that without these experiences I wouldn´t have been able to do all the things I did.

On the other hand I´m glad it is over mainly for two reasons: one I have time to study for my upcoming exams and two I have time to go on holiday. And that´s what I´m doing right now: I´m thoroughly enjoying my holiday in Austria! Finally I managed to catch up on some sleep, finally I have time to read my very exciting book (I plan a separate post on only that one another day) and finally I have time to do sports again. Yesterday I went for a long run to the lake in the morning, then in the afternoon I did a 30km bicycle tour up and down all the hills around Mariazell together with my uncle. My butt really hurts now, but of course that is not something I can admit as for today we have plan to climb a mountain...My uncle just arrived in the door, so I gotta hurry to get my trekking boots on...

Hey Caro,

Time flies past. I remember when we were talking about your traineeship in Denmark and now it's over!

Good that you have the time for the much needed holiday. Enjoy and keep us posted. :)

Hugs,
Erica

SOrry, but did you use 'trekking', 'mountain', '30km bike-ride' all in the same sentence as 'holiday'...? I must be dreaming :)

Enjoy! ANd good luck with the exams.

Hugs

p.s. did you get the money from AIda?
