On the road again: off to Malta

Even if there was the lack of activity on my blog during the last few weeks, somehow I’ve not been completely unproductive- still I must admit I’m not experiencing my highest times ever in terms of energy levels and motivation in general. Nothing to worry about, it’s just a bit of dip.

Aforementioned exams are over now. They didn’t go as well as planned or at least as well as I hoped they would. Not all the results are out now, but one of them I have to repeat for sure. That in itself is not too big a deal, it’s just the fact that I can only repeat it in summer 07, that bothers me a bit. In the meanwhile I had a bit of time to get used to the thought that I won’t be completely finished with my studies before leaving on my trip around the world (starting in March 07), so I’m trying to focus on the here and now as well as on the future and I try not get caught up in things that I can’t change anymore. So far I’m more or less succeeding.

But there are a few things I’m definitely looking forward to: one of them is my upcoming trip to Malta! :-) Some of you might remember about my post a while back about my difficulties of letting go AIESEC completely. I decided that I don’t have to do that just yet. I figured out for myself, that it is ok to do things that I LOVE doing and that make me happy. And that’s why I accepted the invitation to go to Malta and chair the conference there. I still feel I have so much to give and to contribute and chairing is one of the ways which allow me to do so. So tomorrow evening I’m off to Milan, where I’ll be catching up with the Italian MC. Thanks guys for hosting me!! And on Wednesday early I’m boarding the plane to Malta….
