A small girl bringing a lot of joy into my life- or being a godmother

I’ve been wanting to post something about this little girl (and I’m not talking about me ;-)) for a while now.

This little girl is called Joelle and is my godchild. Last Wednesday she left Switzerland together with her parents and her little brother to start a new life in New Zealand. This post is dedicated to her.

So Joelle, this message is for you:

Thank you for bringing so much joy into my life during the last four and a half years,
Thank you for letting me see the world again through children eyes,
Thank you for teaching me again how to play,
Thank you for showing me how simple the world can be,
Thank you for our dances in the living room,
Thank you for your warm smiles and big hugs,
Thank you for reminding me what life is all about!

Joelle, I miss you already and I can’t wait to see you and your family again in July 2007!
