Hopp Schwyz!!!!

Amazing, mindblowing, so cool!

Switzerland won against South Korea last night 2:0! - Now we play in the 8th finals on Monday against Ukraine!

Switzerland is experiencing a REAL hype right now when it comes to football and identification with our soccer team. The atmosphere is fantastic!! People walking around in red and white shirts, caps, bags; people waving flags from balconies and on sidewalks;people squeezing in front of screens in order to get a glimpse on the game, students missing classes to see games in packed cafeterias, professors shortening or cancelling classes because they are afraid that the students will just run of when a Swiss game is on, SWISS people driving throught the streets until 1am celebrating (usually we leave that to the Italians and the Portuguese)...etc!

Zuzka, Sam, Martin and I watched the game last night at a random bar, but with a really good view on the screen and then went to Bundesplatz to sing, chant, celebrate, watch thousands of happy faces, drink beer, enjoy and dream!

It feels good to be Swiss right now! Hopp Schwyz!

PS: now going back to the library: statistics..:-(
